Hence, the best way to test a car is use it for a week. In other words, I am hinting that you should rent a car that's identical to the one you plan on buying. I can guarantee that you will significantly know the car better, and will help you in the final decision. Mean while, you car is being fixed, and once its running, you would get much more for it at trade in.
